In het verkiezingsjaar 1966 vroeg het partijblad van de Engelse Labour Party, Tribune, enkele schrijvers en kunstenaars voor wie ze zouden stemmen. De Engelse dichter, toneelschrijver, acteur en enfant terrible Christopher Logue schreef een heel aparte steunbetuiging voor de Labour Party.
